Fragrance...it's in thousands of products but what does it really mean?  Women for a Healthy Environment (WHE) hosted two Fragrance-Free Days this year to educate the public about this "mystery" ingredient.

Special thanks to our event sponsors!

Join us in Market Square on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm to receive fragrance-free giveaway items and the fragrance-free toolkit; meet with local vendors who offer safer, healthier alternatives to fragrance; and enjoy the music of Joy Ike!

Fragrance-Free in the Workplace - WHE staff will be conducting a brown-bag "Lunch and Learn" on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from noon-1:00 pm at the Heinz 57 Center, 339 Sixth Avenue, Suite 750 (the building is between Rite Aid and the Duquesne Club). (Please note the change in date!) This session is geared toward office managers and administrators, human resource professionals, sustainability coordinators, green team members, corporate wellness committee members and any employee that wished to learn more about this topic!  This session will cover potential health effects from fragrance, legal issues and employer accommodations for employees impacted by fragrance, sample fragrance-free workplace policies and  implementation, and lessons learned along the way.
